Meet Dr. Cindi
Navigating healthcare can feel overwhelming and impersonal. With over 20 years of experience in acupuncture, I provide highly personalized care, giving each patient my full attention and expertise at every step of their healing journey.
What truly matters to me is the relationship we build. My patients are my priority, and I take pride in offering attentive, individualized care to help you achieve your health goals, whatever they may be. As a solo practitioner, every appointment is one-on-one, allowing me to listen closely, understand your unique needs, and work with you to find lasting solutions for your well-being.

I’ve been involved in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) since 1997 and in private practice for over 20 years. I graduated at the top of my class from Five Branches Institute in Santa Cruz, CA, where I earned my Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. At Five Branches, I interned in gynecology under Sharon Feng, MD, OMD, L.Ac. (former Chief of Residents, OB/GYN, at Shanghai Medical Hospital, China). After graduation, I worked for several years with Dr. Misha Cohen, OMD, L.Ac., an internationally recognized expert in the areas of Chinese medicine for HIV, Hepatitis C, and gynecology.
I am a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in California, which has the highest level of TCM licensing in the United States. My post-graduate work includes on-going advanced training in the areas of gynecology, obstetrics, and reproductive medicine. In 2020, I completed my Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Health & Science, with an emphasis on Women’s Health issues.
I have completed advanced Obstetrics training with Raven Lang, L.Ac., a leading expert in TCM Obstetrics and one of the first midwives in California, and have studied with Debra Betts, Dip. Ac., BHSc, a leading expert on the use of prenatal acupuncture. I have also completed Level 1 & 2 training with Claudia Citkovitz, MS, L.Ac., one of the nation's foremost authorities on the use of acupuncture during labor and delivery.
I am an active member of Norcal Fertility Group, a Bay Area coalition of Chinese medicine practitioners with advanced training in reproductive care for men and women, from pre-conception to delivery.
I’m proud to be the mother of two children, both born at what is often called “advanced maternal age.” This experience has given me personal insight into fertility and pregnancy and continues to inspire my work with patients on their own journeys to parenthood. •
